Growing Memories charted the food history of Stratford, looking at how local job opportunities and industries brought different people and communities to the area, and how this migration is reflected in what food people eat. We were particularly interested in the redevelopment of the Olympic Park, which formerly housed factories such as Yardley's and Clarnico's. We held reminiscence sessions and community gardening sessions to bring people together, collecting their testimonies through oral history interviews. Some of these interviews have been condensed for this short film, alongside footage of Stratford and the Olympic Park.
